Koch Nitrogen Company, LLC owns and operates facilities in Oklahoma, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska that produce anhydrous ammonia, UAN and urea. Koch Fertilizer Canada, ULC, operates a production facility in Brandon, Manitoba, that produces anhydrous ammonia, ammonium nitrate, UAN and urea. In addition, Koch Fertilizer, LLC owns storage and terminal assets in northwest Europe with trading offices in Switzerland, France and United Kingdom.

Koch Nitrogen Company, LLC is seeking a Business Improvement Leader to join our team in Dodge City, KS. ?This position offers the opportunity to work in a growing and progressive company. Successful performance as a Business Improvement Leader could lead to other leadership roles within the Koch family of companies (Operations Manager, Reliability Leader, Plant Manager, and Operations Excellence Director). The successful candidate will drive significant improvement efforts at one of our Koch Nitrogen Company plant sites.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure critical compliance and EH&S Excellence elements are incorporated into all Business Improvement initiates
• Drive the execution of the 5 Year Bets to improve operations at assigned sites
• Provide leadership and oversight for the improvement initiatives that support the plants? 5 Year Bets
• Participation in Koch Fertilizers cross company effort in the development and consistent application of work processes and management systems
• Ensure there is an integrated implementation plan of improvement initiatives at assigned plant(s) with defined measures and milestones
• Monitor and improve the effectiveness of the plants? organizations, work processes, and management systems
• Provide integration and coordination between the plants and corporate resources

Required:

• Process plant operations background
• Self starter, effective communicator, collaborative, team player
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work at heights exceeding 100 ft.
• Must be able and willing to work outdoors in all types of weather
• Must be able to pass a pulmonary breathing test, wear a gas mask type respirator and full Level A PPE

Preferred:

• 10+ years of operations experience in refining /petrochemical industry
• Knowledge of chemical processes and equipment
• Project management experience
• Economic thinking skills
• Has experience in leading change at a manufacturing site
• Bachelor?s degree in engineering from an accredited institution
