From the age of 2-14 my best friend was a boy who was my next door neighbor.??We did everything together, now I was definitely a tomboy so most of our activities were playing sports, catching bugs, camping, etc. The older we got the more we grew apart and it makes me wonder can guys and girls ever be best friends.??I understand when you are smaller it is much different, so what about when you become older, is it possible to have a guy that is a best friend? Now this guy is also in his 30?s and they talk about everything from work to sex and everything in between. It makes me think about how a male female?friendship works???They are both Single.??There is no jealousy involved in this situation which makes it work for them, but as I?ve seen in when one of them gets into a serious relationship, then they will slowly drift away from considering each other as best friends. Now there are multiple people in my life that say someone of the opposite sex is their best friend, and I find this interesting because each of them have a serious ?relationship with someone else.
