Can No Longer Edit a Thread

So I have a couple of threads in one of my roleplays that I've been updating periodically, one that keeps track of important NPCs, and the other that acts as sort of a quest log. I had been editing them to update information and add new things, but now the edit button seems to have disappeared for those posts, and thus they are stuck the way they are.

Is there a way around this? It's rather important to the RP, as a way to keep track of what everyone's done, and what will be done in the future.
