Cheaters Ruin Sony's "Bid For Greatness"

A hacker, as discovered by PlayStationStyle, has reportedly destroyed what was supposed to be great idea by Sony to give its most hardcore fans some cool prizes. Sony created the Bid for Greatness auction, where participants can bid using their highly coveted Gold trophies.

But @PSNProfiles have uncovered rampant cheating by redsoxfan95, the winner of the Killzone: Shadow Fall auction who "used illegitmate methods to obtain trophies." PSLS's Chandler Wood dug deeper to find that the winner's Gamer Card?"earned" about 8,500 trophies in a single day. Since he's not Paul Gale, that's suspicious. In fact, it's an elbow from the sky.

As many game developers have learned, there will be at least one gamer out there who will cheat. Like an account of a player who couldn't enter another player's castle and so built a staircase made out of cardboard boxes, climb over the castle's walls, and raiding all of that player's loot. But where I would give that cheater some points for ingenuity, this cheater is just someone who thought he could get away with it. Hopefully, Sony won't let him.
